A/R & A/P Analyst

We are looking for an AR & AP Analyst to join our Finance team in our Toronto office. This is a full-time hybrid position (replacement for maternity leave). Reporting to the Director of Finance, the A/R & A/P Analyst is responsible for day-to-day accounts receivable and payable functions for our US and Canadian business.

What you'll do:

• Process company's financial transactions, such as computing, posting, verifying, classifying, and recording accounts receivables’ and payables data, in compliance with financial policies and procedures
• Create and manage vendor bills, customer invoices and deposits.
• Review the A/R & A/P ledgers making sure all payments are accounted for and properly posted.
• Researching and resolving accounts payable or accounts receivable issues or discrepancies with customers or vendors
• Take measures to ensure payment of invoices such as sending bill reminders and contacting customers.
• Prepare detailed A/R & A/P financial reports and present them to company's executives and senior managers.

What you'll need:

• College Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in accounting.
• At least 3 years of experience in A/R and A/P; and accounting.
• Experience working with accounting systems. Acumatica – big advantage.
• Attention to detail and accuracy
• Ability to manage multiple priorities, commitments, and projects
• Strong teamwork & ethic.
